Behind The Green - The signed story of the Green Men
The Green Men were staples at Vancouver Canucks games from late 2009 to 2016. They ended up travelling alongside the team during the 2011 Stanley Cup run and grew to international fame. They starred in People Magazine and endorsed major brands like Pepsi, Budweiser, Telus and Subway. They were kicked, shoved and spat on in Boston. They helped raise over $100,000 for various charities in their community and received a Medal of Valour from the WHL for their efforts. They also had their own E:60 documentary and they were also the first inductees into the ESPN Hall of Fans.
Their story took an absolute ridiculous life of its own and their rock star fame had them signing hundreds of autographs per night. Their story is an inspiring tale of courage, humour and self-belief. Foreword by Don Taylor.
